even when it comes from focus on the family and their monthly newsletter focus action. they lie too...(or should i say, get the facts wrong). just like you and me and everyone in between (which includes obama, mccain, hils, your mom, dad, grandpa, grandma and even stan gaede).

my favorite part in the newsletter comes in the very beginning, when they describe him as an orator who talks about "change" and "hope."
since when do those words need to be put in quotation marks?
also, as a christian organization, i find it ironic that they are so vehemently opposed to something called the Global Poverty Act, which would let our government do many of the things that Jesus spoke about as being of the most importance: care for widows and orphans and fight injustice.
funny, though, i don't remember Jesus ever once mentioning abortion or the 'homosexual agenda' when he spoke. some liberal writers probably left it out of the bible.

I looked up some definitions online of liberal and here are a few:
-broad: showing or characterized by broad-mindedness
-having political or social views favoring reform and progress
-tolerant of change
-a person who favors a political philosophy of progress and reform and the protection of civil liberties
-big: given or giving freely
So first of all, Focus on the Family does not scare me by using the word liberal.
Secondly, I'm glad we have a candidate, like Obama, who is able to focus on more than two issues. No matter how misleading this article was in portraying Obama's stances, let this also be a reminder that abortion and homosexuality are not the only moral issues in this campaign. Thank you, Obama for sticking up for things like social justice, education, the environment, and peace.
And Em, I like how you are on a nickname basis with Hillary Clinton.
